I am so pissed off, I really wanted to take a trip to Canastota to take part in the festivities, but it looks like my money isn't going to be in order until the end of June. So angry, that is going to be one huge couple of days with all those big names, and I would have had a chance to chat with some of them. Is anyone here going to be able to make it up there?

Yeah right! Martinez would destroy Margarito now, worse than Mosley did. You could even give Margarito loaded gloves, he wouldn't touch Martinez now.

I am going again this year.

You can still go and enjoy the stuff on HOF grounds and at Grazis. Those events are free. The only pay event thats really worth going is the BBQ.

You just need a hotel which runs around $60 a night. Not sure if you are in driving distance or not but that would also be an expense. Not to late to make it lol.

Martinez was there last year and did the workout on Friday and Saturday. Was pretty fun to watch. Nice guy and really fan friendly.

As far as free to anyone that walks up.

On Thursday at the grounds they have a few lectures and book signing etc. They sell food. Opening ceremonies late afternoon. There is a silent auction set up with alot of memorabilia to bid on.
Rest of night most boxers etc all hang out at Grazianos restaurant/bar across street. Your not gonna sit and have a beer with Tyson there but most of the guys are there an easy to talk to and hang out with. Ward, Pryor, Spinks,Bramble, Bute , Marquez, Oliveras etc

Friday has more lectures and they do a fist casting for the inductees. Also they have a ring set up and a boxer does a workout there.
Friday night they have an event at the rusty rail party house. This year is Mexican fiesta night. That you need tickets for.


Saturday there is a 5K race , a card and memorabilia show at the high school, more lectures at grounds and another workout. There is also a great BBQ and golf tourney at the golf course down the road. Need ticket for that. But fir $85 all u cna eat and drink(beer included)
Saturday night there is a ****tail party and then the banquet. Need tickets for both of those.

Sunday is kinda slow, not much at grounds. Parade down main street is cool then the induction ceremony.
