martinez walks around @ about 180.

he's well then enough for supermiddle........but that would mean possibly losing.....or worse. getting stopped.

He has fought one legitimate middleweight, it was a good victory, and spent the rest of his time fighting or calling out smaller guys. Real fighters go up in weight to meet the biggest challenges they can, there is no credible reason that he shouldn't be trying to fight the best 168lbers he can.

why are people actin as if martinez is scared to fight at 168 when he says that his body needs to grow into the weight and that he will fight at 168 in the future

Not sure if thats gonna happen. The dude is in his mid 30's, his body's pretty much done growing. If he does gain that weight, it'll only slow him down.

he was 168 in the ring man thats all im saying... which is 3 pounds heavier than marg was vs pac in the ring, as far as all the personal opinions about how big he looks and being 175 before the fight thats none of my bis... i deal with what happens in the ring

and for the record i dont want to see him fight pac and i dont praise anything martinez is doing, hes good but hasnt proved much to me

me personally i dont want to see pac fight martinez and i know it will never happen i just laugh at the reasons people say he shouldnt... its just funny that its out of the question because of size when pac destroys guys who are 3 pounds lighter than serg on fight night.... thats all im sayin...imjustsayin

ok. by your logic, martinez should fight a catchweight to one of the SMW. Go ahead. The point is martinez wants to fight $$/cash cows due to his age. There is not much $$ in SMW for him so he looks down and hollers at lower weight.
