I personally want to believe that Oscar went to rehab b/c he wants to return to the ring. On FightHype they said 6 months back they heard rumors that Oscar talked to Schaefer and others about making a comeback fight and they told him he'd have to stop using coke before they'd ever feel comfortable talking about it. Around the same time Dan Rafael did mention the Oscar comeback rumors too.

Now Mayweather on the other hand, I would bury him with the lawsuit, but I find that very credible of Oscar to extend himself with an apology the way he did. Found it hard to believe why he was becoming a d@*#k as a promoter, when he was a gentleman and a professional his entire boxing career. Makes sense now. And I hope he makes a full, healthy recovery. I Sony hear anything about the Mayweather Klan apologizing for their steroid accusations. So it appears Oscar not only paid Floyd's $6M tax bill that is once again outstanding as Floyd has an additional $3M unpaid, but Oscar had to apologize for Floyd too. I think it's great for Boxing to have Oscar and Arum working together again. And Arum had a forgiving heart and that's BIG on his part too. Boxing wins!
