Pacquiao is fighting a light weight and asks Sergio to fight Hopkins.

Then, people make the ridiculous claim that Pacquiao only fought Margarito at "154" to test the waters. Who the hell tests the waters on a championship fight? This "article" is a complete joke.

Martinez a career at 154 and the TS wants him to go all the way to 175? Martinez does have a belt at MW but that was more because of opportunity.

So now 15 lbs seperate a Hopkins/Martinez fight and 10 lbs seperate a Pac/Martinez fight if there is a catchweight of 150

i just glanced over the article but didnt he say go and pick on someone your own size, then go on to finish the article by saying why not call out the bigger man in Hopkins? what a joke he should NOT be calling out hopkins, why not call out a Pirog, or Andy Lee, or dip down into lmw and go after Alvarez or Cotto those are more realistic IMO

Pacquiao wasn't testing the waters at "154", he was fighting for a hand me down title belt from the WBC for an 8th title and at a catchweight of 150 at that. He couldn't even come close to 150 so I think that ended any thoughts of fighting at that weight.

Marquez even admitted that a catchweight of 144 would put them around the same weight on fight night. Jmm @135 comes in at 142,143 and Pac @147 comes in at 146,147.

Sergio vs Hopkins isn't fair and neither is Sergio vs Pac. Sergio starts his training camps at 175+ and works his way down, Pac starts his camps around 140 and works his way up. Fight night would be a 20+ difference.

Instead of going up 7 lbs to fight a guy who will be coming down 6 lbs, Pacquiao and his supporters want Sergio to go up 15 lbs.

sergio is a the middleweight champ(160)...to fight bute, froch or ward,,he only has to go up 8 pounds...smh...

150 is not a weight class guys...there's already too many of them every 4 or so pounds, why does the greatest fighter of our time need an advantage???? he won the vacant 154 belt, defend it against martinez at JMW. he can come in at 148-150 and martinez will come in at 154, what's the problem?

so by ur logic martinez can also come in at 160 to 168 against bute, ward or froch???
