I got to shake my head at so called hardcore boxing fans who think guys like Berto and Ortiz are on a different level than guys like Clottey and Cintron. You have to take into account the quality of opposition when you consider who should be rated higher.

Victor showed me alot in his fight vs. Berto. He's come a long way since the Maidana fight.

the way he looked after maidana and the immediate post fight interview, was like one ready to retire. It certainly wasnt written in the manuscript, that he would dig deep, go through the trenches and come out with a win.

when he went down against berto, my initial reaction was oh shiiittt, now this fight is done, ortiz is done and no way in hell does he have what it takes, to get through this. I was proven wrong and ortiz impressed me.

He had everyone questioning him, The media, the fans and probably himself too, gotta be a tough ride to take and still pull through.

He should work hard on getting maidana to face him at 147, that would shut people up.
