Why do American boxingfans love to hate these guys?!

I haven't seen ANY American hate on Darchinyan or Chris John... Hell, Chris John never gets talked about at all.

Would like to see more of Chris but the two times he fought in the states didn't look anything special with such a good record. On top of that he rarely fights and it is not the top opposition.

Vic D is the love and hate guy. ****y and arrogant but he backs it up, even losing he never stops trying. Vic has done a nice living fighting in the US cause he has a lot of fans. I will always watch Vic fight

Khan is the way he refers himself as one of the top guys and future superstar. He has talent but he has just as much flaws. His weaknesses have been exposed and has not been corrected to this day even with all the top training he has had. He has the stuff but he is a KO waiting to happen.

I do see some hate for Vic.. thats cause he a **** and like to talk ****. but he very exciting in the ring.

Not all American fight fans feel this way. You'll have some that just love to be bias for the American fighter but there are others who just love the sport period.

I like Vic cuz he always comes to fight and has a good style for the fans. I got to see John fight in person against Juarez in early 2009. Personally I thought he won but Juarez got the hometown gift. Sucks we don't get to see to much of him. Khan is a good fighter too. I thought he showed some heart by not getting KO'd by Maidana.

I think the guys that they love to hate most right now are Vic D and Chris John, along with a few others I can't remember right now. Both Vic and Chris are among the best fighters today and they certainly bring something good to the sport, each in its own way. Why can't American fans just appreciate it instead of having to judge them by some bs criterias?!

I also noticed quite a lot Americans on the forums really hate Khan. I can kinda understand that, he's not exactly the most sympathetic boxer today, but he's also a top 10 p4p guy.
