Comments Thread For: Carl Froch on Johnson Strategy, Andre Ward, Longevity

As England's WBC super middleweight king Carl Froch see it, he still has not received the respect that he so richly deserves.

Lem Satterfield, I don't know who you are, but, you need to to stop, using so many god damn, commas.

Seriously. At least half of those commas did not belong... very poorly written.

        You talk bollocks.

Froch speaks with pauses, hence the comma to indicate such.

Keep up the good work Lem.

Great interview! Always nice to listen to the cobra preach! This somewhat seemed a little off character in my opinion, but maybe it's a good thing he's becoming more humble as time grows.

I like how candid Froch is. He admits that Johnson is still a hell of a fighter, but at the same time he recognizes the decade gap in age difference gives him a slight advantage in the trenches. Although I still believe that Froch is going to be surprised at how much power johnson can generate from such a short distance on the inside. He better hope his wheels are ready to roll for 12.

sir tom - i concur good sir.

pullcounter - i also didn't care for froch too much at first, but i think i mistook his seemingly arrogant behavior as confidence and self-belief. he seems like a down to earth guy who really loves the sweet science, which i can always appreciate.

great afrikan - im still on the fence to be honest, because Johnson's style of inside fighting is second to none, and is very unique; the way he bounces up and down and moves his head while being able to stay in your chest. the power from his right hook when he is right in your chest is amazing. If Johnson is more than a 2-1 dog i might throw a little somrthing on him. maybe straddle a KO/Froch UD.
