Is Winky Wright still coming back?

He was supposed to be on the Morales/Maidana undercard but got a hand injury and dropped out, anybody know if he's still planning to fight again this year?

Don't hold your breath man. I think Winky may be done, I could be wrong though.

Wright is done. Hes rich, a JMW legend and hall of famer. No need to comeback unless hes going to be 100% dedicated.

You think Winky is hall of fame bound?

Absolutely. Dude had a stellar career imo. Beat some hall of famers, had tough fights with young guns, fought ATG's.

Also unified JMW which hasnt been done in 29 years before he did it. Dominated several good fighters. Had some tough robberies imo: Simon, Taylor, Vargas. Skilled, very good defensively and a tough fight for anybody.

He made it as high as P4P Number 2 and stayed there for a few years. Great fighter imo.

He is definitely worthy of the hall of fame.

Yeah he was a great fighter but there is no way the powers that be put him in the HOF. I've always backed Winky up cause I thought he was a very skilled boxer, but i've come to the realization that not many people like him enough for the Hall.
