I expect a pretty good fight. Not sure if Dawson has the mental aspect to beat Hopkins. Dawson has all the talent in the world but man is he soft as cotton. Hops might rough that kid up.

Compare Pascal and Dawson's last fights. Bernard being scared of Dawson is silly thinking. On the other hand, Dawson may be more technically sound, so might indeed give a different kind of problem to Bernard. Again, with several years to go, would be silly to avoid Dawson...unless Bernard wants to save him as his most dangerous foe, for later. If Bernard wants to stick around, we may also see him face Andre Ward, when he moves up. Seems that may happen within Bernard's reign. I'd also want to see Bernard in there with Froch and Cloud. Dawson did beat Adamek, and Bernard promised exciting fights to come(clearly, he's capable). Those two things might just make it a classic, even...if Dawson steps on the gas pedal more. If Dawson fights with no will, Bernard may indeed rough him up.

Out of Pascal, Bute and Dawson, Dawson gives Hopkins more problems stylistically. This is why he is hesitant to fight him. hopkins has been saying he would fight Dawson for about 3 years now.

Dawson agreed to step aside for Hopkins as long as he gets to fight the winner. An agreement and contract has been made. Now Hop and GB are looking for ways to back out of what they contractually agreed to? How is this respectable "champion" behavior?

Hopkins has been avoiding Dawson for years, and Dawson has been calling him out. No more BS from Hopkins, he's obligated to fight Dawson under WBC rules, fans want to see it happen.

I think Dawson will simply out work Hopkins. Hopkins does not have the work-rate or power to bother Dawson, and I expect Dawson to shut him out.

Hopkins and Mayweather has fought many boring fights, yet no one complains about their boring ass technical skills, and low work-rate.

Unlike most critics, I thought Dawson's performance was good, even his trainer Emmanuel Steward gave him a B. Yeah he could of done better, but he did enough to win, and looked while doing it.

I think Hopkins will have a tougher time with Dawson, than Dawson having a hard time with Hopkins. Dawson has all the tools to give Hopkins trouble, and he knows it, that's why he's been calling out Hopkins for three years. The only thing embarrassing for Dawson is to lose to a 46 year old who's physical skills have declined greatly. Chad isn't a green boxer, he knows what he needs to do to win, and knowing Chad, he will fix his mistakes.

Let Hopkins fight Dawson and Cloud could fight Pascal. But maybe Cloud will have to fight the interim belt holder Karo Murat first who should be no thread for Cloud.
