Well the 1.3 Mil guarantee HBO gave him for his next opponent was too much. When the offer for Khan came in and it was within that ballpark, of course he is going to refuse and want more.

Instead it would have been more beneficial to the fans for him to have been made no guarantees, and then subsequently made the 1.3/1.5 mil offer for Khan with UK PPV incentives. I'm sure he would have taken in that position.

It's all about mindset.

Of course that's also not how the business works, and HBO were doing anything to guarantee they made the Bradley-Alexander fight.

I think Bradley is a great guy and fighter, but when you are not in the elite superstar tier of this sport, I think giving these fighters these sorts of guarantees is damaging to both the sport and to the fighter themselves.

It sounds like He has problems with his promoter,could make Khan wait and fight somebody else and take his 1.2 then come back and nego with Khan for good money..Did not like the way he was being rail road into taking the Khan fight when others wanted him too..

I read the interview again. I don't really know why he has backed out. He called Khan out a lot, and even said I will go to the UK and cause havoc at the Mccklskey fight.

So of course Shaw will hand him Khan.

It's just strange to said let's build it up, the same excuse as he did with Alexander, and then make it haopen after zkotelnik gave Alexander a boxing lesson.

Interestig he says Khan fights to the level of his opponents. Does he fear Khan has other levels, or is too fast for him?

I am not sure but he seems to be a guy who needs confidence to win.
