    How good is Zbik?

How good is Zbik and do those of you who have seen both him and Chavez fight do you think he has a good chance to pull off the upset?

He's ranked #6 in ring magainze. Although Zibik isn't that great especially compared to the real middleweight champ, I think Chavez beating Zbik would be a bigger upset than Zbik beating Chavez.

Have you seen him fight yet? I dont know if Arum and company would make the fight if Zbik was supposed to win because then he would be risking more lucrative fights for Chavez down the road.

Zbik is a well-schooled, young, athletic technician.

he lacks power in both hands. he works behind his jab and is a safty first fighter.

        Best win: Domenico Spada 2010

Chavez seems to be the bigger man (you never know until they are in the ring).

Chavez has the better people around him, may have the better game-plan.
Chavez is very lazy, but works to the body pretty well.

best win: John Duddy or Billy Lyell

both are very, very unproven at championship level.

Chavez Jr will win a decision, even though Zbik has somewhat better boxing skills.

Zbik doesn't have the power to knock him out, and he cannot win a decision on a Top Rank promotion in the USA, especially against one of Arum's "cash cows".

I think Zbik is going to be more active. But I dont know about his chin or if he can take a solid shot to the body. If he does, he can win a close decision.

But Junior seems to be very focused and may come in with a perfect game-plan to beat Zbik. I also think Junior carries a heavier punch, he seems to be the natural bigger guy.

I wouldnt be surprised if it goes either way or if someone gets caught by the first solid punch. lmo
