Little story about religion and boxing

There was a father and a son that went to a boxing match. The two boxers went to the ring and the son saw the other boxer do the sign of the cross. The son asked his father about why the boxer did the sign of the cross and for what purpose. The father said; "not a damn thing, if that boxer cant fight".
