Hopkins vs. Green at 183, can Hop do it?

Green is pretty damn crude, I would give Hopkins a very good chance to win that fight.

Hopkins can make upwards of 5 million dollars for this fight with Aussie PPV money and everything. I think he should go for it. why not add another strap at cruiser? The IBO really isn't that much of a joke, they at least have a purely objective ranking system. but boxing is a subjective sport, so of course it has it's flaws.

There have been a number of very shady things invovled with Green fights in Australia.

You need more than power to beat hopkins, personally I think Green sucks but I think as for hopkins he wants both money and something that really means something as far as his legacy goes and I'm guessing he doesn't see much value to his legacy beating Green (IBO belt not really that cool).

If he were to go to cruiserweight he would do so against a top guy I reckon. The only person there that makes any sense would be Steve Cunningham in a Philly showdown, but both of them recently said they aren't going to fight eachother because they are both trained by ****m. The other guys (huck, Lebedev) I don't think really bring in too much money but who knows.

Hopkins would easily beat Green. He shouldn't bother, Bute, Dawson, and the Super Six winner do more for him.

Natas I can see that perspective. If Hopkins twaxes Green and wipes his nose with the right for 12 rounds then all people will remember is "hopkins ducked *enter better fighter* to beat some brawling bum". haha and upon reflection, yeah, the "ifs and buts" saying was pretty gay. . .

Bojangles - I would like to see any of those fights.

I guess im just kinda curious to see if Hopkins can handle power from bigger guys. He handled Pascal's power pretty good for the most part, though.
