To me Roach is just average his fighters started doing better by improve conditioning and strengh brought in by Alex Arizza Who dosn't get the credit. Many pro trainers get to much credit when someone dope head writer say's he has trained 20 world Champion. He never trained none of these fighters from scratch it's much more difficult to train a fighter from scratch that to polish the skills of someone already made by someone else who never recieves any credit for the fighter that was groomed into greatness..

the US olympic committee hired him for a reason.....they have their reasons.....HBO picked him among all the trainers...that is not average...5 time trainer of the year...that my friend is not average....move along...

From a couple of 24/7 episodes? Nah, hbo makes great series, this one will be plenty interesting. This is great news for boxing, we need all the eyes we can get.



That's like saying phil jackson sucks cause he doesn't build teams from scratch. Can't argue with results. If it was so easy everyone would do it.

Boxing basket ball are totally different. Boxing you must have great condtioning while basket ball someone can pick up the slack for you, in boxing you are the entire team. With Arizza Roach 's camp has improved 100%. Roach was just average before Arriza arrived take a look how well he did when he trained Mike Tyson and Delahoya they performed poorly didn't they ? A well condtioned fighter beats a poor condtioned fighter with enormormous talent 10 out 10 times. I've watch Roach do the focus pads and I can do a much better job than he can. I just trained my nephew to 3 national titles but he stop boxing do to an injury and my son dosn't like boxing so He likes Karte so I take him to the do jo because I won't train other kids and push my son to the side I seen what happen to my Coach and his son. He spent all his time with us spent no time with his son and his son got into trouble with the law.

i would have prefered some kind of "mayweathers reltives" series that had Roger, Floyd sr and all the other wacky people of the Mayweathers in it.

Floyd bores me with his fake personality, so the focus shouldn't be on him.

I guess this is a decent idea though, and I'll check it out. Hopefully won't be too much on the parkinson as i feel I've seen that in every 24/7 so far.
