    Just saw groves vs degale

That was a horrible fight... all groves did was go backward and try to catch degale, and he never went forward at all.

I hate those type of fights- there's has to be a code where all the fighters understand that this a fight, not a show.

I'm not talking about slick boxers, because even slick boxers like floyd and ward understand that code, and they understand that it's a fight, and they carry themselves in the fight accordingly- with pride. I'm talking about klitschko type fighters that develop a cheap style and never deviate from it and never prove themselves in any way except that they're cheap.

At least degale tried to make the fight happen, if he didn't try to win then it would have been a boring staring contest with groves bouncing everywhere looking like he's gonna do something.

Yeah, Degale tried to make it exciting by doing absolutely **** all for the first half of the fight, Groves couldn't have won that fight any other way, he did what he had to do.

I enjoyed it as did the crowd at the event ...

it's kinda hard to do anything offensively when the guy you're fighting is bouncing around the ring like a chipmunk and never staying still or moving forward.

The smartest thing to do would actually be to keep chasing him defensively so he tires out.

That's usually what Degale does unless hes got a **** fighter in front of him, Groves beat him at his own game.

          Thank Adam Booth for that.

I'll be pissed off if Haye does that **** against Wlad after all the talk.

He will, the talk is just promotion, I bet Haye looks for a decision.

that fight was more entertaining than watching Floyd vogue his way around a ring for 12 rounds.

PLEASE. If you cant appreciate top class boxing go and watch a small hall show where two meat heads stand toe to toe until one falls over.

I was excited as hell through out the fight. Not because it was the greatest war of all time, but because of the tension etc.

Wlad-Haye will probably be simliar in ways, neither guy will go all-out in the first round. It'll still be exciting as hell though, IMO, because of the tension, the importance of the fight etc.
