How do fight fans feel about Pacman Marquez at welterweight??

And Arum has made it clear that will be the next fight if Manny vs Floyd can't get made.

I still don't get why people expect Manny to face elite fighters each and every time he steps in the ring. No one does that, and even at that....Clottey at WW isn't a bad fight, Margarito isn't that bad of a fight and the only one I can agree with being terrible is Shane buts its still no different than what any other champ has done.....face a guy that is top 5-8 in his division.

I really don't get all the complaining because it's not like Manny is turning down Berto for somone like Andeji Agadjo or Mark Meligen. Is there really that big of a gap in the talent level between a Shane Mosley and Andre Berto or Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez? Even then Manny will more than likely face Bradley next as Arum is pretty set on making that Manny next oppenent (If Floyd keeps playing around).

Tony coming off a loss a long layoff and a weak fight vs a bum should not get a shot at the p4p king that was a bad fight.

Bradley vs Manny and/or Berto vs Manny should have happened before Marg fight was even considered stop making excuses and call it like it is.

I never said that. I said if he isn't going to face Khan, he can atleast take those fights.

Maidana is still a top JWW and Berto is still a top WW, even if the division is terrible. Why stay inactive when you can atleast take on solid opponents until a Pacquiao fight comes? I threw Berto in there because Andre is a solid WW that will help him get use to fighting at WW (with Berto's size and speed).

Again....much better than dude turning down fights and being inactive.

It's boxing and it happens. This is nothing new and I can name countless examples of fighters who were coming off of losses and got immediate shots at the top/elite fighters of there class.
