Nearly everyone in Britain that even vaguely follows Boxing is happy that Degale got beat.

and the reason for that is he's a total ****. It's not even close to being comparable to the Khan/Froch situation.

I'm pretty sure most black british boxing fans wasn't praying for Degale's demise!! , most of James haters are people who aren't comfortable seeing a young black male be so confident, it's the same reason why Floyd catches so much hate too, Groves talked just as much crap as Degale but somehow that was all brushed under the carpet, i wonder why?!!

David Haye is about the most popular British fighter around, a black male with even more confidence than DeGale. Groves and DeGale were both talking, but Groves kept it strictly related to boxing for the most part and was FAR from disrespectful. James took the trash talk to a personal level and was very disrespectful...that is why a lot of people wanted him to lose.

Come on dude, I think Khan has done enough in the ring since his KO to justify not going back to Prescott. Surely not Khans fault that he's moved upwards and Prescott has since been exposed. Surely the Maidana fight answered the immediate question of Khans chin/heart and I don't see what Prescott brings in either stature, money or ranking that would help Khans legacy (apart from avenging his only lose which at this stage of his career is not required). Lets face it everyone knows how to fight Prescott now anyway, dance around the sucker for 6 rounds and he'll be blowing out his ar*e in the 2nd half of the fight. Khan would execute that easily. It would be a boring fight.

As for the topic, James came across as a complete c*ck in all his interviews, in fact almost like the school bully, always bashing on the smaller kid, calling him ugly, calling him ginger, it was rather pathetic. It's all fine and well if he won because he'd have said 'I told you so' much like Mayweather does but he didn't so he deserves all he gets, including from his fellow professionals. "Most popular british fighter around"? bwahahahaha don't make me laugh!! , he hasn't got anywhere near the support Hatton had, he's more big in the media than he is with the "fans", plus Haye isn't really one to big up himself too much, he talks more about beating his opponant!!!...that's the big difference, people don't like Chunky being so confident in his OWN ABILITIES which is why he's been catching so much hate, despite the fact that he brought home the gold medal for his country!! .

Froch is mouthy and he doesn't get half the stick Degale gets!!.. again I WONDER WHY?!!
