Of course the british boxing board don't want to grant a rematch!!.. they already gifted Groves the fight so they wouldn't wanna mess that up now would they? i hope Degale takes my advice and says a massive **** you to the british boxing community and goes to the states!!..that way he'll get better training and fight infront of crowds who don't cry their damn eyes out just because Chunky believes in himself and hypes up his fights.

Degale need to realise that you cant *** around and take anything for granted in this sport. He had his chance and simply didnt take it.

He has bundles of talent and skill, but that gold medal aint going to guarantee that all he has to do is turn up to win fights. He needs to leave it all in the ring, and not in the dressing room or the pressers beforehand.

This could be a valuable lesson for him, but I sense that he is too ****** to get it. He needs to get rid of the bumsniffs and yes men he surrounds himself with, and hook up with a trainer who is gonna tell him what he NEEDS to hear.

Degale needs to move on. Groves would just come into the rematch knowing what to expect, full of confidence this time, and Booth would have him even more prepared.

        Groves simply has his number.

          HAHA are you for real???

hyping himself up?? He was straight dis-respectful, all mouth and he got a hHUGE slice of humble pie saturday night, I had him down two rounds .. he did not let his hands go, and he was feeling the weight of the puncher groveseys punches!!

I thought people in the states liked aggressive warriors, and slick boxers, not mouthy arrogant kids that talk the talk but cant walk the walk.

DeGale is going to fight 10 overmatched opponents now.

            Standard.

And Groves wasn't disrespectful too? er ok!! , there was only one man in it from the seventh round onwards!!.. and anyone who watched that fight without being biased knows Chunky won by at least two rounds, AT NO STAGE was Degale in any trouble, Groves on the other hand was hurt several times.

Exacty. I notice how most DeGale fans are talking about what happened in the actual fight whereas the Groves fans add some nonsense about how DeGale's personality isnt nice...lol gay as ***.

I think it would be the opposite to be honest.

Groves' tactics were spot on and I'm not sure he can beat DeGale with a different gameplan.

DeGale did not seem to adapt to Groves' movement as well as he should have done and his corner have to take some of the blame for that. If they fought again in 2-3 months, DeGale would certainly take a different approach to the fight and have the beating of Groves.

No rematch though, time for DeGale to move on and build up to revenge in a couple of years time...

he won fair and square. you dont win fights by just plodding forward and not throwing. he should of been deducted a point aswell. if degale has any pride or self respect he will shut the fcuk up moaning, admit the better man on the night was groves and work on what he needs to do to improve.
