My personal opinion is that both teams are completely playing the public knowing that the longer they put this off the larger and larger a fight it will be. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually had weekly conference calls between all the parties planning what to say/do relating to the fight. Manny will keep beating on scrubs and let his naive fanbase get more and more riled up. Floyd will continue playing the bad guy from his castle. Arum will make HBO put a ridiculous offer on the table to get this fight on HBO...this is a complete inside job and everyone is going to walk away with bags and bags of money. I really think they are waiting to let this build to a point where it will shatter Mayweather - De La Hoya. Mayweather can't touch that 2.4 million by himself. Pacquiao can't touch that 2.4 million by himself. If they want to do something crazy like 3 million, it would take years of buildup and Pac and Mayweather together. None of the people involved have any actual interest in us, they are all there for the money (sorry *******s, Manny isn't your friend and really couldn't give a frak about you).
