Comments Thread For: Tomas Rojas, Cristian Mijares are Ready To Unify

Super flyweight champions Tomas Rojas (36-12-1, 24KOs) and Cristian Mijares (42-6-2, 18KOs) are ready to unify their titles in a big Mexican battle. Rojas retained his WBC title on Saturday when he stopped mandatory challenger Juan Jose Montes in twelve rounds in Chiapas, Mexico. Mijares, the IBF champion, helped Montes prepare for the fight and he sat ringside to watch Rojas' victory. After the win, Rojas called for a unification, and Mijares is ready to accept his challenge. Discussions are reportedly going to take place.

Good fight. I would favour Gusano Rojas, he's become a better boxer in the past couple of years, while Mijares continues to be the same boxer he was a few months ago after his 3 consecutive defeats. Rojas KO Mijares in 10 rounds.

It will be a good fight, but right now Mijares has no chance, Gusano is on a different level right now, maybe if Mijares had a punch he could trouble Rojas, but he doesn't have it, i can even see Rojas stopping Arce.
