  • Comments Thread For: Tomasz Adamek Plans To Test Vitali Klitschko Very Early

Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KOs) is not coming to lay down. He plans to test Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KOs) very early in their scheduled fight. Adamek challenges Klitschko for the WBC heavyweight title on September 10 at the new soccer stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. By the time the fight comes around, the older Klitschko will be 40-years-old. Adamek wants to start at a fast pace in the early rounds and place a lot of pressure on Klitschko to stay active in the entire fight.

i know it sounds crazy to say this, since vitali won the fight by a first round ko... but last time out he looked like ****, he's slower than ever.... adamek has all the tools to beat this guy.... he's at the right age, he's well conditioned, he's got speed, he moves well and has a great chin....

the other thing is, adamek's not going in there to knock him out... he's not thinking like that, he'll be prepared to go 12rounds and carry out his gameplan for the full 12. i think that's why haye would be vulnerable against vitali, i don't know if he'd have the discipline to fight him like that...

If I press and push the pace, then Klitschko might get tired.
Lol. Why do fighters always think Vitali will gas out? If that's Adamek's hope for winning this fight, he's in for a long and brutal night.

Vitali doesn't get tired. I've never seen him stop throwing punches ever. If you want to test him, he'll throw 1000 punches in 12 rounds like against Arreola.

I want Adamek to win, and by then Vitali may just be old enough for Adamek to get it done. He has to stay away from the punches to do it though or he won't make it past 4 or 5 rounds.

The only odds against Vitali is now his age.
