Pascal has went 12 rounds before in fights with higher pace without losing steam as badly as against Hopkins (both fights). He went through all 12 rounds with Ikeke, Diaconu (twice), Froch and Dawson.

Like I said, you can thank Hopkins for making Pascal look like a "4-round fighter". Hopkins gets in your head - making you angry, emotional and not least: make you miss a lot of punches. That takes a lot of energy out of you. Hopkins beat Pascal mentally already before both fights occurred.

Pascal burned a lot of energy on nothing against Hopkins.
