Marquez: well manny pacquiao can be beaten by fighting him with similar speed, fighting him with many combinations and never staying put in one place. Constantly moving left and right and fighting with the same amount of speed and punches.

    after question 2.

Well we worked very calm. These type of fights are like playing a game of chess. Constantly moving your pawns correctly and i believe this fight is like that. Avoid being hit by Manny Pacquiao's punches and throw many combinations but make sure you move correctly so you won't leave a blind spot.

    after question 3

well everyone knows the weight difference...it's alot but he came from flyweight to Welter..and i came from featherweight to light welter...so that's all i think i need to work on with my medics..to properly move up in weight without losing speed. Besides that i believe thats the only difference in weight..that he came from flyweight to welter.

    after question 4

well..i think that thats a bit rough but if given the chance to get him...well we'll try knocking him out. Hopefully not reaching decision but if we win rounds clearly and it goes to decision than well..it's up to the judges to decide properly.

    after question 5

i believe i'll take 4 months for this fight in November..why? Because i'll be working on moving up in weight properly. We'll be working on strengthening my shoulders, legs and arms. Thanks..

Hope he doesn't put on too much unnecessary weight. I think he'll be fine weighing less than 142lbs, but his body needs to be dense enough to take Manny's shots. His legs need the most work if he wants to stay on his feet...

I still see Manny knocking him down over and over again.

If he fights in July for that David Diaz tuneup, then July to November is the four months he said he needed for Manny.

Thanks. JMM is one of my favorite boxers but i know Pac is a beast. I hope he does move up in weight efficiently unlike in his bout with Floyd. I agree...strengthen those legs. Marquez has heart but he has a difficult time staying on his feet. I also noticed how Marquez gave somewhat of props to Pac when he stated his achievement of reaching welter when he began his career at Flyweight. This might be JMM's mater piece in the making.

He says maybe even 5 months of training to build up his muscle mass and move up in weight correctly, that's crazy, he'll overtrain if he does that.

JMM should take a tune-up at 140 and not 135.

He said he'll train 4 to 4.5 to 5 months.

It takes time to build strength so he'll apparently work right through any tune up fight.

Actually I doubt he will. Strength training if done properly can do wonders. However in a 5 month span I think that's too short unless Marquez is planning to come in at 140 which I think he's trying to do.

Can he overtrain? Yeah without the proper mediation, but Marquez said he's gonna bring in a doctor and do it properly so in end this can benefit him greatly.
