Jean Pascal quit after he hurt Hopkins in the 12th round

Pascal clearly had Hopkins hurt in the final round but he didn't even try to do anything about it. Pascal landed a big right hand that seemed to have Hopkins on ***** street with over a minute left in the round. I kept screaming at the TV for Pascal to attack but he did nothing. Dude just looked at Hopkins for the rest of the round. Jean that was your chance wtf?

I agree, it was pathetic. He just stopped throwing the first time he really had Hopkins hurt.

I was so annoyed. I was yelling for him to at least dump Hopkins on his butt, but the guy just wimped out.

Jean didn't quit he was gassed just like he is in everyone of his fights after the 5th round. He has bad conditioning and it really hurt him in both of his fights against Hopkins. Hence Hopkins telling him last night if he improves his conditioning and technique he will be a great champion one day.

He knew Hopkins was waiting for him to attack again and he didn't want to get countered. Pascal looked really off balance in this fight, and his legs weren't very steady. But I agree with you that he should've done more. He was probably low on energy and didn't want to get countered and possibly dropped in the last round of a close fight.

It was very disappointing, at least try.

His ability to recover really impressed.

Yeah, but it's easier to recover when your opponent isn't throwing any punches.

Pascal really annoyed me when he pretty much just stood there doing fuck all for almost a min after clearly hurting him, what a ****.

Kinda hard to unload punches when you've been gassed since the first half of the fight. That rally he had in the 12th round was all he had left inside of him.
