I doubt many of the top fighters really worry about the tests. One, they can be beaten. So the fighters cheating are aware of this. Two, most probably aren't cheating. Hopkins, probably falls into the latter of these two situations. However, this isn't about taking the tests.

It's about letting your opponent push you around in negotiations. Fighters don't like to lose any battles, including those ones.
I'm not even a fighter, and I'd refuse the tests if someone was accusing me of cheating. I hate people trying to force my hand. Someone would take them for the money. That's.... rather cowardly.

thats what i've been saying for a hot minute now........ good stuff because it's TRUE!!!!

also, i don't think hopkins really cares, what he cares about is someone calling him a cheat and trying to discredit him in order to create hype and controversy, also, trying to say that he can't do what he does without that "candy".......... hopkins is one of those guys, at least i get the impression, that he doesn't care if his opponent is on this or that because at the end of the day, hopkins is focused on beating him, regardless if they're cheating or not.

just because someone is juicing doesn't make it automatic that he's going to win, just look at history of fighters who lose and then lose the after fight drug test, the most easiest one to recall if vargas after losing to DLH, a knockout loss at that........

but hopkins seems like he wouldn't care, he's just focused on beating the man in front of him, and probably feels if his opponents have to cheat, then that raises his stock and credibility.........

old school cats aren't that worried about all this type crap, they're only concerned with doing THEIR best, the rest will sort itself out............

First time I've heard of this news about Floyd demanding extra tests was from a local Detroit news station. The tone of the news favors Pac, "the terms he's agreeing to are far and above the commission rules..." It basically blames Mayweather for the fight not happening. That was more than two years ago. And the tone in the US media hasn't changed much.

Conclusion: Most people don't take these accusations of cheating seriously. I don't think high profile athletes would be ****** enough to take risk getting caught. Plus peds are way too overrated by gullible people.

I haven't seen him take an extra, unnecessary test either.

                    So, whats your point?
