Tunney, the bhop-calz fight was far closer than the fight was last night. Stop hating on the old man, and give credit where it's due.Comment

Well Dan Rafael was wrong, really wrong. It wasn't a close fight, Hopkins clearly won, I had the fight 116-112 and I was very surprised by the decision by judge Anek Hongtongkam who scored it 115-114... it was not as close as he showed in his scorecard. It was a very close fight, I scored it as a close decision win for Jean Pascal. Dan Rafael scored it a draw.
But Jean Pascal accepted the judges decision like a man. He showed CLASS and GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, instead of whining about being robbed like certain crybaby boxers do whenever thay lose a close decision.
Props to Jean Pascal - he's still young, I have a feeling we haven't seen the best of him yet.

None of the judges were Canadian. It WAS a close fight.Comment

No, it was not. Press row was on one side of the ring, where they only have one view of the fight. This is the reason there are three judges and they all sit in different sides of the ring.
No one, but you, fellow Canadians, and some people in press row think it was a close fight. It wasn't close and it should have been even more of a dominate victory for Hopkins, but he was cheated out of two knockdowns. Pascal was gassed and mentally broken half way through the fight.
One day he will be champion again, but he needs to work on his conditioning.Comment
