What happens when you put two featherfisted, former world champions looking for redemption who aren't afraid to take a punch in the ring with eachother? You get fireworks. I think this would be a great opportunity for both to get back in the mix, seeing how they're coming off of losses to champions. The winner should get a shot at the Rios-Antillion winner, which would also produce fireworks.

This fight would probably look like the other Diaz vs Diaz fight. Juan boxes circles around David and forces a late stoppage. Juan's all but done, but David never got started. -

David Diaz is fighting Juan Manuel Marquez July 2nd so that would have to wait. plus i am fairly sure David Diaz would make Juan

Juan only boxes against guys he sees as a threat. Heck, even against guys he sees as a threat he brawls sometimes, as shown in the first Marquez fight. David isn't one of those threats. As for Diaz, he really doesn't care. He came forward against Pacquiao and Soto all night without any hesitation.Comment
