I won't say Hopkins is ducking Dawson, because a Bute fight makes sense, and if it makes dollars it makes sense. B Hop vs Bute is a far easier match up for Hop, plus he grabs that title to unify, Dawson grabs either shumenov or brahmer which I would assume neither would fight him, but that gives Dawson and b Hop a chance of either being undisputed. But in the long run I don't think b Hop really wants Dawson unless it would be his last fight

Dawson has been gettin screwed out of big fights because of hopkins for years now. . .I personally want ward to be the first to beat Bute, plus lets not forget Bute is a 168LB fighter. . .I agree with ya tho bc fighting Dawson aint worth much money. . .But hopkins has a 4 fight deal with hbo and Bute has a 6 fight deal with showtime so how does that play into this?

3 Fights with showtime and ones was done yet. The one in July doesnt count (Of contract) Kesler or Pavelic in the same time has the final 6 tournement and the MATCH agains the winner in begening 2112...

I think Steward will keep Dawson away from B-Hop.
The trainers glee over Bernards victory was inspiring.
He knows that he could train Dawson for 3 years and never get Chad to that level.
Sure, Dawson would throw more against Bernard but Chad has Pascal type lulls of his own.

There is a passionless aroma that exudes from 'Bad'.
He is easily distracted, often seems unwilling to engage and truly dislikes getting touched.
A guy like Hopkins could have a psychological field day with such an opponent.
