I don't get it? It seems like SECOND (literally) mayweather flapped off about the steroid nonsense, people just took it and ran with it like they finally had an excuse to hold on to. And man they held on to it and tried to run with it as far as they could, until it became obvious that this "test" was simply a guise to mask FEAR of god being struck.

Seriously, Im just saying that Manny deserves the same respect as Hopkins - he doesn't deserve to have his honor and word as a man stomped on.

Well with the recent win, maybe Hopkins should take the test. I mean, he's doing some age-defying things.

That said, he ain't really doing it on a Manny-like scale. Manny went from being an accumulation of punishment type of guy (with one punch KD power in the left only), to being a guy who can hurt bigger opponents with any punch in his arsenal.

Some feel something is wrong there.

I for one hope that's not the case as I don't want boxing to become like baseball (with tainted history books).

I honestly believe one day there will be a unveiling in many sports, including boxing, about the use of HGH
Its pretty difficult these days to get away with steroid abuse, because of the tests
But when the most advanced HGH testing can only catch users within a few hours, I don't see how it hasn't been exploited
There are far more su****ious cases out there than Pacquiao and Hopkins, though.

They are in two different weight classes for one. If Mayweather was in the same weight class and had accused Hopkins, he would be tainted as well. Fans of Mayweather are threatened by Pac's success, so the accusations carry much more weight. Hopkins is also fighting a younger, stronger opponent- goes to show you that people may secretly feel that taking steroids is ok when you are facing so many disadvantages but not ok when you have advantages on your side.

floyd asks manny to take the test even though there's no reason for it, and suddenly he's mr. HGH, and everything he does is tainted- even though he's willing to do 7 days (everybody knows he doesn't like his blood taken close to the fight he admitted this years ago)

Jean Pascal asks a 46 year old hopkins who fights like he's 25, who has the most quickness and stamina i've ever seen from somebody past 38 to take it and he flat out refuses it, not even 20 or 14 or 7 days, and suddenly he's the GOAT?

Why don't you just admit you're racist and that you think black people are better than everybody.
