Groves crowd influenced Judges against Degale!

Groves had the crowd cheering his every move and I think it influenced the judges, which is known to happen quite regularly.. I thought DeGale won the fight IMO.. it was a close one but judges were probably swayed by the crowd in those close rounds, scoring for Groves when they should have gone to Degale!

Could have gone either way at the end of the day. I did think Groves caught Degale with the better shots, although Degale pressed for the action. The last round was hard to score, could have gone to anyone... The cut on Groves had a bearing on the last two though IMO, Groves couldn't see very well.

Degale didn't do a enough really, it was a bad performance by him.

if the crowd did influence the judges in any then mabye Degale will learn not to try mimic Mayweathers bad guy image when your not good enough to back it up, personally i thought Groves took it by a round.

Hardly Groves' fault his fans were noisier. It was an even fight IMHO, could have gone either way just as the scores suggest. Could have been a worse first loss for DeGale and this shouldn't damage him too much if he wins the inevitable rematch. Will be (deservedly) overshadowed by Groves if he doesn't.

DeGale was right when he said: "Ugly boy is gone!". He's now James' daddy.

Exactly. That's like walking out before the end of a movie you paid to see?
That was such a close fight. No certainties.

You mean Jim McDonnell? In the words of Degale 'He's Goooooone'

                  What a liberty.

Degale looked a bull in a china shop for large parts of that fight but without throwing any punches.

Groves looked tired as the fight drew to an end but he was far more assured and disciplined of the two last night.

Degale had it coming though. He's a ****y, arrogant little shit.
