personally i thought degale won the fight. but it was so damn close it could have gone either way. English judges, not always, but usually TEND to favor the superior boxer. And no doubt about it Groves was the better boxer with the technique. however, degale landed harder, cleaner shots, had groves shook, and i think just overall he busted groves up more.

Yeah. He busted Groves up with elbows and headbutts more like, that's why Groves suffered a nasty cut in the 10'th. Groves would have won the last two if it wasn't for that cut blurring his vision.

I had it for Groves by 2 rounds but it should have been wider if Flunky had got the point deductions his constant fouling deserved. He was the better boxer and his footwork and accuracy was the difference. Funny how Warren was able to convince so many that Defail was some master boxer and defensive genius before the fight, yet he looked pretty average when for the first time the opponent had some skill and hit him back.

Promoter Frank Warren believes his boxer James DeGale was jobbed in the grudge fight with George Groves on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. Groves won a very close twelve round majority decision in a tight battle of unbeaten super middleweight prospects. DeGale, a 2008 Olympic Gold medal winner, was the heavy favorite to win. groves beat degale from what I saw... didn't score it, but groves movement was neutralizing degale's pressure and groves landed the better quality shots imho

i though degale won just but a draw would of been a fair result, though a rematch sould def be in order, froves won't want it as he knows it was so close nd he could easily lose next time, i also know if that close desicion went to degale he wou'nt want a remtach either for the same reason. fights that close it's be a shame if they don't get a remacth soon.
allthough i still think degale is the better fighteroverall he's more talented i just think groves has the better trainer and there tactics won the fight.
degale has more potential to be real quality easiily anyway.

Degale won for me too , finished much stronger and was the aggressor however a draw would have been a fair result
