Is this proof that Calzaghe didn't beat an over the hill Hopkins?

You just keep living in denial.
stop making up your own stories. hopkins agreed to the fight if it was in the usa but calzaghe and warren wanted the fight in the uk. hopkins asked for more money if he was gonna fight in the uk and they refused. calzaghe and warren both said in many interviews that joe was scared of flying to the united states and that's why he couldn't fight here. were they both lying? he wasn't scared of flying to go on holiday though so that's kinda strange....thankfully he overcame his fear when hopkins and jones were in their 40's!

calzaghe refused to fight glen johnson many times what makes you think he's gonna fight hopkins? they parlayed those phony negotiations into a bunch of easy fights on showtime. the guy was super protected by his promoter, the refs, and judges for almost his entire career. everyone can see that but you.

perfect. Only blind fanboys cant see which promoters are shady. Calzaghe was in no position to demand b-hop to come to the uk. why should hopkins go there? so he can get robbed? roy jones jr and hopkins were both big stars and calzaghe( or at least Warren) wanted nothing to do with either fighter in their primes. calslappy retired like a puss rather than rematch hopkins or fight dawson, who had established himself as the clear #1 contender. fraud. ricky hatton was better!

Hopkins was old but obviously he wasn't washed up. Bhop can't save Calzaghe's joke of a resume though.
