For the Pac fans to respond so passionately shows that there is some room for argument.

    Lol.

I think so.. Pac is a great too but neither Floyd or Pac can compare with the legendary Bernard Hopkins.

Hopkins is in a league of his own. Hell, even if he was 36 and putting on these performances it would still be highly impressive but the fact he's 46 and doing this.. it's straight up incredible. The man is like the boxing version of mission impossible. All praise due.

I still can't see this. I mean let's look at the time he faced an elite fighter his own size (Taylor Roy Calzaghe Pascal Trinidad and Tarver). If you can think of more, let me know but outta those Bhop is 3 outta 7.

FWIW like I was saying yesterday, of your gonna give him credit for Pavlik and Wright, then you should give Manny and Floyd full credit for beating Marquez at WW.

Also if you compare his best wins in this past decade to Manny it's not close and if you compare them in the last 3 years it's even more lopsided in Manny's favor. Pascal is solid but let's not act like he is a Chad Dawson type if fighter, someone Bhop flat out refuses to fight.

And to be honest I'm tempted to place Floyd above Bhop.

I say this because Floyd looks so dominate over his oponents that you question whether they should even be in the ring
with him. He consistantly makes solid fighters look like amateurs and almost all his fights look like that. The only times I got that from a Hopkins fight was against Trinidad and Pavlik. Same can be said for Manny because outside of Marquez and th Morales I fight dude has blew his opponents out the water by completely dominating them to the point that you question if these guys should continue fighting.

That reason alone is why I feel Manny and Floyd are clearly the best two fighters of his generation.

to accomplish what he did at the age of 46 is indeed impressive. i'll give him props for that.
