Comments Thread For: Judah's Promoter: Zab Being Pulled From Khan to Morales?

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Golden Boy Promotions and Main Events are far apart on the financial terms to make a junior welterweight unification between champions Amir Khan and Zab Judah. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer told Kathy Duva, the CEO of Main Events, that Judah is not worth a 50-50 revenue split with Khan. And, Schaefer told Duva that Khan wants 100% of the revenue from UK pay-per-view.

I dont see that as a bad deal to be fair...

Something like 60/40 Khan and all of UK would be fair, last time Judah beat someone of real value was 2006

It's obvious to me that he's willing to give Bradley more money. It's a waaaaay better name to have on his resume then Judah. He's been stopped every time he's fought good opposition, and lost to some B/C-level fighters.

Even though I'm not THAT impressed by Bradley he's ranked as the no.1 in the division and is undefeated.

I think it would be a more entertaining fight with Bradley aswell.

In every fight involving Golden Boy Promotions...confusion happens and thus creates frustrations to all boxing fans. Money is always a problem because the promotion itself is in financial difficulty. Oscar Delia Hoya's future is becoming more uncertain day by day after his big lost to the great Manny Pacquiao. He is making a lot of questionable decisions lately.

Its Painfully obvious that AmirKahn is scared. More people know who Zab Judah is then Amir Kahn. Alot of folks who are not hardcore fans know Zab from fighting Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather. Non Hardcore boxing fans, See Zab Judah as a Boxing Bad Ass that has good fights. Win or lOse Zab Judah's fights are not barn burners, those fights are action packed. If you watch Zab, you know about the uppercut. The guy with the quick uppercut.

UK fans know Zab from when he beat Junior Witter . Kahn is scared, he called Zab a runner? Zab got low blowed and hit with hella kidney shots, and shots behind the head from Cotto and kept coming back moving forward. Kahn is a paper champ.

Amir Kahn the Paper Champ KIng.

Zab is the real champion at 140.

P.S. Headbutt Bradley is not an attraction. Nobody really wants to see that ****.

These promoters treat every fight as if its their fighter's last. For boxing, the fans are NEVER a priority which is why fan support is dwinddleing....the 140 weight class is so deep and has a ton of interesting fights, but nobody wants to fight....

Kahn is a better fight for Judah but Kahn trying to **** on him regarding the money is not right and exact because Zab is still a name people will pay to see. He has the style to make for a good fight. Promoters are killing the sport. Make the deal work for both and get them in the ring.
