Dawson, Ward and Bradley have never had a KO/TKO win over a contender

Chad Dawson has some wins over decent opponents: twice over Johnson, twice over a past-prime Tarver, a weight-drained Adamek, and now a win over Diaconu.

Andre Ward has had decision wins over Bika, Kessler, Abraham, Green and Miranda.

Timothy Bradley has several decision wins over contenders as well.

But none of those three fighters have ever had an impressive KO or TKO win over another contender in their respective weight divisions.

I think all three are capable of putting on more impressive performances and stopping some of their opponents, but they are overly defensive-minded and seem completely content with dull decision wins, even though most fans find KO wins more exciting.

That doesn't matter at all. Pernell didn't stop really anybody either, but was beautiful and excellent to watch in the ring.

Boxing ain't about hard punchers, it's about technique. They all have still looked impressive over top contenders so they get a free pass.

Well none of them are big punchers really...

Ward has impressed me the most out of them though...I think he has all the tools...

I think Chad has the tools but lacks a fighter's spirit or mentality...

Also nobody's ever knocked out Tarver, Johnson hasn't been knocked out in like almost 15 years since the Hopkins fight. No shame with Chad Dawson.

You seem very nationalistic, for someone who once made a thread calling for the banning of boxingscene's nationalistic posters.

All your posts seem to support American boxers, and you are generally negative about non-American fighters.

For example, today you ridiculed Cleverly for lacking power, yet you would never, never say anything like that about an American boxer.

                Tunney,

who is disagreeing or thinks these guys are extremely exciting? I like all 3 guys but I don't love any of them. I wouldn't list them as my favorite fighters, but I still enjoy watching them fight (Ward is tolerable if he fights like he did against Abraham or better).

Why wasn't Pascal on your list? He was in your avatar a few hours ago and now he's magically gone. Why are you fan but then when you make sweeping generalizations about guys who aren't Ring Champions who don't KO top guys, Pascal is mysteriously not included.

Cleverly is featherfisted, and you know who else is? Timothy Bradley. No one disagrees. I'm not sure Ward or Dawson can't knock people out it's just not their style.

                  It ain't nationalism. It's reality.

So? I think people put too much value in a knockout victory. It is possible to look more impressive and be more dominant in a 12 round fight than a fight you win in the 6th round.
