You also need to give Hopkins trainer, NAZ, a lot of credit.

Hopkins was losing the fight early on and was getting off of his game ..... that is, trading big shots with Pascal.

When Hopkins came back to the corner after one of the early rounds (4th or 5th?), NAZ straightened Hopkins out. Hopkins followed NAZ's orders to the tea and the rest is history.

Ya, this!! Naz got alot of hate for the Shane/Pac fight, unwarranted imo. Pascal hits a hell of a lot harder than Pac and rocked BHop badly. Next round BHop comes out staying composed thanks to Naz and executing perfect right hand leads and immidietely clinching to not let Pascal get off bombs. And those were definitely some hellacious shots landed by Pascal. Shane on the other hand barely got touched and that scared him enough to completely abandon throwing any shots of his own probably to not "piss off" pacquiao, and also did his best with all the touching of gloves to hopefully have pacquiao take it easy on him. lol Bernard on the other hand, became more aggressive, took some risks vs a huge puncher, and even taunted him a bunch only to piss him off more.

You should look up a man named Archie Moore. He was winning fights into his 50's back in the 1950's and early 60's. You shouldn't be so quick to take away from someone's accomplishment, try and turn that jealousy and resentment into motivation to accomplish something for yourself.

I disagree that hopkins used "way more dirty tactics" than hopkins. I thought pascal was rabbit punching like crazy and the ref didn't even worn him.

but in the end I'm glad no points were deducted.

I did however think the ref blew a knockdown call or two, especially in the 10th round I thought that was a clear KD.

regardless, happy with the outcome. I just think that ref sucks.

i agree Pascal was way more dirty. he hit so much on the back of Hops head it seemed like it was happening every clinch. they both did some dirty though. i also thought Pascal used his head more and held on a lot longer as well when the ref tried to break them up. Hop should of got the two KD's also.

didnt matter though. Hopkins took that boy to school again.

Great win for Hopkins, although I admit the light heavy division was over rated.
I seriously think most of the top super middleweights could and would have beaten Pascal. We already seen Froch do it.
