    I feel gutted for degale

This is the problem when you really get behind a fighter. When they lose it can affect you bad. It was a close fight. I though Degale won. But there were a lot of close rounds where not much happened and they could have gone either way. In the end, you can't argue too much with the decision.

I feel bad for degale man. One thing I noticed in the build up was the difference between the respective trainers of both fighters. Booth was calm, assured, relaxed. Whereas, jim mcdonnell, was very excited and in retrospect maybe somewhat overconfident. At the weigh in Jim Mcdonnell showed how excited he was when he got up and encouraged degale to bet his salary on the fight.

I reallly think that if degale needs a different trainer. One that recognises his flaws and works on them.

I was very impressed with Groves. What a performance. I thought he was going to get completely outclassed. He boxed brilliantly and certainly had degale confused in the early rounds.

A good night for boxing. A good fight. Worth the £15.

Booth was walking around the O2 by himself.

Posing for photo's. Cool, calm and collected.

Seems like a good man to me. Just looks out for his men.

Both DeGale and Groves are nice guys behind the scenes. I've met them several times.

Fair enough. I can see how he might get under people's skin. But I really like the ****y, brash fighters. Ali, Mayweather, Degale. I love the "me vs the world" attitude these guys seem to have.

You putting Degale's name in the same sentence as Ali and Mayweather honestly made me say "what the ****" out loud.

Degale isn't fit to wash either man's jockstrap.

              So did you lol.

But seriously; relax. I'm not saying he's as good as them, ik merely pointing out some similarities in their attitudes.

It's hard to feel sorry for DeGale when he made such an ass of himself in the build up.. Groves conducted himself with class throughout and that's why DeGale won't get much sympathy.

Perhaps now he's had his ego checked he can go on and make something of himself, he has the talent, he needs a really good coach and someone to keep his feet on the ground.
