Bradley turned down a package of $1.4 million, with a 50-50 split on the UK pay-per-view revenue. Duva tells BoxingScene that Schaefer doesn't believe Judah is worth 50% of the revenue, and Khan wants to "keep all of the British pay-per-view money." Duva doesn't agree with Schaefer's position, stating that HBO is willing to pay more money for Khan-Judah than any of the other alternatives - like Robert Guerrero or Marcos Maidana.

"And I said to him, 'That's based on what?' And he said, 'The Khan's don't think that he's worth 50 percent.' So I'm saying that he does a bigger gate than Bradley, he's earned a lot more of the foreign market than Bradley, and he's well-known over there and he's done great in the foreign market, and he's worth more in England than Bradley. The British pay-per-view will pick that up," Duva said.

"And HBO will pay more for Zab Judah than they will for any other opponent that Golden Boy is talking about having Amir Khan fight, so explain for me why Zad Judah is not worth 50 percent of the money. And, Zab has a world title, just like Amir Khan. In fact, he has won four world titles."

Instead of making joke fights for Khan he should be fighting Zab Judah next if he gets past Maidana, If Richard Schaefer has the audacity to say that Khan will fight Mayweather then he should be able to fight Zab Judah.

    --------

Looks like Judah and co have started the media war...

Kathy Duva, CEO of Main Events, confirmed BoxingScene.com's recent report regarding the negotiations to stage a junior welterweight unification between champions Amir Khan and Zab Judah. After WBC/WBO king Timothy Bradley turned down a lucrative deal to face Khan on July 23, Duva reached out to Khan's promoter, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, to discuss a potential fight between Judah and the British star.

it would be a coo fight

I think Amir breaks Judah down, and possibly stops him, yet I see Judah giving Amir a good scrap for the first half of the fight. Judah doesn't seem to eager about fighting Amir, and is thinking to much of himself, as a result of being talked about as a possible opponent for Pac. However, he is not being discussed in the same sentence as Pac, as a result of him being a worthy challenger, but rather a safe, sure, and perhaps highlight reel type of opponent.

He's not bigger than Bradley, nor is he as relevant in the division to be demanding the same deal as him.

I like all of the challenges that appear for Khan. Robert, Zab and Marcos all will be worthy fights but I feel the liviest dog would be Robert but Zab could stop Zhan if he concentrates on his defense and moves his head and counters with hard shots to the body.

Robert is big not as fast and lately has shown more heart. Has marquez on the run and is looking to step up for a big challenge. I dont know about Roberts power so he may be able to get Khans respect is the biggest question.

Marcos m had a chance and let Khan get away. So like Prescott he want get another chance to get the job done.

Exactly! Judah isn't very relevant in the diViSion, AND he doesn't bring significant money into the bout.

If Arum hadn't mentioned his name Judah would've taken the deal in a snap. But I agree with you, I don't think Judah really wants the fight since he'd rather keep his title in case Manny comes knocking.
