So you don't look like a possible crackhead(or worse), learn your words. If you don't know a word, use something on your level of understanding.
I do not think Roy threw the fight. May be time for him to bow out, however, if not take on someone a bit less dangerous, so he could go out on a decent win, which possibly wouldn't leave him feeling as badly. Hope he's ok.Comment

Look at that, what's Lebedev supposed to do. It's a real shame for Roy though.Comment

Well you can't blame Lebedev for this entirely. He stopped and looked at the red (Smoger). The fight wasn't stopped, so he threw a final punch. A decent ref would have stopped the bout.

Lebedev is to blame. Roy obviously was out on his feet. I'm thinking there was enough time to jump on him, if he somehow managed to continue in time. Roy obviously wasn't in shape to defend himself. Both are to blame, actually. Smoger might be a tiny bit too careless. I say a tiny bit, because Pavlik got that win over Taylor, for example. It is true, however, that Pavlik still is a relatively young guy, who doesn't have a history of getting KO'd. I think Lebedev needs to be fined, as should Smoger.
But it wasn't exactly sportsmanlike to threw that final punch.Comment

Let's just stop feeling pity over Roy. That punch could happen to any other fighter and not just to him. Sometimes instinct gets to the fighters first rather than thinking. Ref could be blamed there.
But, in the first place, it was Roy's decision to fight Lebedev. He knew the risks involved in every fight... much more now that he is not anymore in his prime.
That punch should wake up Roy's senses to retire for good.Comment
