Last time I checked, Marcos beat the crap out of Ortiz, got robbed against khan and tangled with a legend...u telling me he doesnt deserve a shot at floyd?? Give me a break..dont discredit that man...marcos is a tough fight for anybody and that means 90% of the posters on here too..

This would be a boring 1-sided boxing lesson. Maidana is too limited as a fighter to give Floyd any trouble. I know you can say that about a lot of fighters, but Maidana would really be in for it.

What fight did you watch?? THe fight I seen Khan gassed in the Mid rounds and was trying to survive. Marcos took Khan into deep waters and drowed that clown. Had him running the second half of the fight and yes Marcos did have one hell of a round. The tenth round when the ref shouldve stopped the fight when khans head was getting thumped snapped back and he was turning his back (which is an ameture move) and running behind the ref...the moment khan turned his back was a sign of defeat and the fight shouldve been stopped..

C'Mon, that is a mismatch. He had trouble with Chop Chop and Erik Morales, plus you want him to go up in weight and have his first fight at 147 against Floyd?

Not a good fight. Maidana was outboxed by an old Morales and if he hadn't run out of fuel, he would've gotten the decision. Mayweather Jr wins easily against Maidana.

This would be the perfect tune up fight for floyd. A young, strong fighter, who applies pressure none stop for 12rounds. I think this would be a good fight, hope it gets made!

why not just fight khan as the tune up... then he can fight pac right after that
