BINGO!
I kinda doubt Bradleys just gonna come out and say "Shaw sucks and he's a backstabbing manipulator who bends the truth to the media when he doesn't get his way, and that's why I don't want to fight Khan IN JULY". He'll probably say something politically correct like "The contract with my current promoter is up in July and I'm exploring my options at the moment. I would be too distracted during a big fight to be in the middle of a life changing decision while changing promotional companies." People can say whatever they want about Tim, but he's a very intellegent guy. He knows it would be bad business to go out to the public and play the "I hate my promoter" card.
Oh, and don't you love the way Shaw is twisting the facts to the media yet again? Once again, he is implying (or trying to distort the truth) that Bradley is getting an 80/20 cut over Khan. The 80/20 cut is his deal with Shaw, not with Khan. And of course Shaw would take 20%, it's better than 0% and it tells you how desperate Shaw really is. And you can bet your bottom dollar that when Shaw was thinking that whole thing up he was saying to himself "Another way I can try to make Tim look bad if he doesn't take this fight under me." But I love the way he wants the people to assume that Bradley is turning down an 80% pay day and that Khan would only get 20%. It's just another reason to show how incredibly manipulative Shady Shaw is when it comes to his fighters. I sure in the hell wouldn't want to spend another second fighting under that mans PR company. Especially a fight of the Bradley/Khan magnitude. **** Shaw, I wouldn't let him make another dime off of me.
Where did you hear that Bradley turned down GBP? Do you have a link to the source? I don't think he could be talking to, signing with or turning anyone down at the moment, until his current contract is up. Atleast that's my understanding.
