Depending on how recovered Paul is from the loss effects the outcome of this fight in my opinion. lara is a hard fight for him to jump into right after getting brutally KOed like that. Paul has a chance to win, but I think lara wins a wide decision, possible TKO. Lara didn't look great in his last fight but he's gonna really get up for this fight and i think he will showcase all his talent and skills against paul.

      HBO boxing rules!

HBO's following up on its promise to put on relevant fights. AWESOME! I love good boxing. You can't really feel bad for Williams or Martinez for having to take hard fights back to back, either. Champions will prevail and build their legacy. I have a feeling that PWill will come in relaxed but focused as after Quintana fight and gets the job done. One thing Showtime still has over HBO is 2 sec. peak at a ring girl every round.

I think this is an awesome fight and I was shocked to hear it's going to happen. I applaud both men.

I like both fighters, but I'm going to have to ride with the Cuban on this one (as always).

Lara's last fight he was pretty inactive and that hurt him. He must know that Williams will not stop throwing punches ever, so he's going to have to pick up the pace to win rounds, or look for the KO.

Real interesting match up. I say it's a 50/50 fight just because I believe both are talented and there are unknowns for both guys going into it (can lara handle the volume punching? how will williams be effected by the KO?).

Anyone who seen how Lara is when someone throws a lot cant possibly pick him in this one.

Kid gets his face beat in.

I cant beleive anyone is actually calling it an easy win for either guy.. i think its a true pick em fight.

Its true Pwill got KOed in his last fight.. But it was vs one of the top 3 best P4P fighters in the world right now. And Lara hasnt looked good in a while. (excluding the 4 tomatoe cans before Molina)

Lara is my boy, I like Williams also, I could go either way but Lara is going to have to LET HIS HANDS GO! If he doesn't then UD or Late Stoppage for Williams

BUT...with that High Workrate it will be many opportunities and openings for Lara to make Williams pay for his MISTAKES

I think people are putting to much into that fight Lara had on ESPN, I seriously doubt he comes into this fight and fight like he did that night, just like I expect better defense from Williams and not that he knows that his chin is NOT INVINCIBLE I expect to see a different Williams and him trying to use his HEIGHT and REACH ADVANTAGE MORE

I say this is a 60/40 fight in favor of Williams because this will be Lara's FIRST MAJOR TEST in his PRO CAREER but Lara can pull it off but this is going to be a TOUGH FIGHT FOR BOTH! I am happy Lara is finally getting a BIG MATCH and is very excited to see how he does...respect to Williams but I think Lara could Chop Him Down With Body Shots

remember lara wasnt prepared the last fight, he trained for less than 2 weeks with shileds since h shields was in ireland training rigo. lara leaves on monday for houston to start his 7 week training camp from what i hear so he should look more prepared this time around

PWill is probably not gonna change his style too much even if he does it'll take one good crack from Lara for him to revert back to volume punching-overwhelming take one to give five.
So if he tries to be more responsible he might hurt what got him to the top it's a tough mix he's going to have to figure out. I say screw it go all in and attack-attack he gets caught oh well. I ? weather Lara can hang w/ the pressure he might face or if he can counter effectively for 12 .
I guess that's why it's such an appealing fight.
