We need more fights and exhibition fights!

We need to see more fights on TV, even if they are not pro fights, can you imagine Joe Calzaghe vs James DeGale in an exhibition match? or Hagler doing some light sparring with Hopkins. Of course the current pros would go easy but that's some crazy **** right there.

You see this kind of thing happen all the time in other single sports like Tennis where Sampras will play Federer or Agassi and Nadal vs Fed + Sampras. The older guys although retired would help build the name of the new guys and they can do it for charities or just for plain cash.

So go find some retired fighters with some hunger in their bellies and instead of them embarrassing themselves coming back (Hearns, Holyfield) put them all in exhibition fights.

Thats because sports like tennis don't involve getting punched in the face. t would be terrible to watch as well, why would you want to see light sparring?

So you wouldn't want to watch Hagler and Hopkins square off? Even if they didn't go full out? Some sparring is as enjoyable as some fights with the head gear.

I don't mean like real light sparring but not to the point where they are looking to hurt the other guy badly.

Surely it would be better than Roy Jones and Holyfield embarrassing themselves now.

Hagler is nearly 60 now, I doubt he could even do light sparring nevermind something harder. So no I wouldn't. Roy Jones and Holyfield are embarrsing themselves and they aren't even in there 40s yet, imagine what Hagler would look like now.

I doubt any of them would want to come back even to do this.
