I wanted to see JMM fight a contender at 140-147 or even a titlist to see how well he can carry the weight. I don't think the Mayweather fight is a good barometer, because Mayweather made Marquez need to try and out-think him which slowed him down as he didn't want to fully commit to any shots or combos as he kept missing.

I think the fight will be more competitive that JMM-Mayweather, but at the same time there is a higher chance JMM gets stopped as he likes to get into more of a slugfest than he needs to sometimes.

By Pac being at 147 is eviddence he wants Floyd.
You got no idea with weight have you ,,, giving weight away every fight you say , *** me you cant even read that Pac out weighed JMM and Morales by 4-5 pound and he weighed more with ODH .

Now if you would like me to explain how it worked with Cotto and Margo I can , and nobody including trainers can refute it because its provable fact , but you will hear it as it whizzes straight over your head .

With a 144 CW , what effectively is happening is that they are forcing JMM to be a little slower or give too much power away to keep speed , Pac will be way stronger this time ,,, this happens because the CW alters their camp weight , they will train lighter right through the last 2/3s of camp to make 130 than they will train to make 144 , it correlates to muscle mass during the training phases which effects the muscle fluid capacity , yet the actual weight on the night wont be a great deal , but the speed hit in JMM and power difference in Pac compared to the 130 fights will be very evident in this fight ,,,,,, but Roach knows all this thats why its 144 or no fight , when it could have been easily at 140 , Id love to interview Freddie on this because its a very sneaky advantage ( highly professional though) that the majority will just sweep under the carpet like its nothing ,,,, its a lot more than nothing !

He has always been a favorite of mine, not just because he brings it, but because he always comes across as a genuine good guy.

              Yep, absolutely.

This is not a trilogy fight, that would have happened three years ago at 130.

This is an exhibition match, and nothing more, because the 40yo midget is too far removed from his game now at welter.

Nah, he can easily fight at both 140 and 147lbs in one year since he's always at 142 by the time fight week comes. Then he either loses 2+ lbs or gains 2+ before weigh in. But I don't see them doing that since Ariza said Manny's at his strongest at 142+.

I agree with the Baby Bull that Marquez will get blown away. But it will be a competitive fight during the first half. This Pac hits harder than the Pac JMM fought last time. Pac has been accustomed to taking punches form full welters while JMM hasn't. JMM was effective in the previous two because his punches really stung Pacquiao. This time, it could be a totally different story. Pac now punches hard enough to tame Shame Mosley and damage Margarito. Imagine what that will do to Marquez. JMM is a warrior...and that warrior mentality he has could prove to be at a bloody cost.
