I believe that after being hit at will by Maidana (a very slow, flat footed fighter with no movement) he realised he isn't as good as he thought he was and tried to buy himself more time to correct his many faults. Now Bradley is buying time to get out of his contract. So like I said, Khan can't complain.
Not only that but most of this "young" hype jobs don't have the chins to take punishment in the long run hence why they keep fighting **** opposition. They want 2 cash out as much as possible before a hard all around good boxer comes around n forces them to retire. We won't see another marquez, pacman, martinez 4 a long while so enjoy what ever little time we have left whit this true boxers.

No way should this happen first off all inactivity will play a big part and i seriously doubt a fighter can truly recover from an eye injury that bad a few punches from any top fighter and it could be broken again

No need 2 get in the ring to see that they r hype jobs. If your standards of a good boxer means that their bark is louder than their bite that's all u. I'm just pointing out that compare to the marquez pacquiaos martinez this young boxers have done nothing to deserve all the attention or money they so much crave for or think they deserve

I'm entitled to my opinion as much as you R or anyone here. I'm not trying to convince any1 or oppose my opinion on any1 but none of this cats have put any real work to better theim selves or bring boxing to a higher standard. They don't challenge theim selfs they rather fight lesser competition for the most $. Hence why we keep getting such crappy ppv cards. They want to make as much $ as the pacquiaos n mayweathers r making but they havent done a thing to earn such paychecks. It's all low risk high reward for theim. Not only that but physically they won't last either. They r C class fighters at most if u have any kind of standards for the sweet science

Some of you guys don't seem to understand that if Bradley signs to fight Khan in July, he has to sign the contract now. If he signs the contract now, he ends up fighting under Gary Shaw. HE DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT FOR GARY SHAW ANYMORE. That's why Shaw is pushing so hard for Tim to sign for this fight right NOW. And of course I can't be sure, but I'm assuming that Shady Shaw would have something in the contract forcing Bradley to extend his contract even further.

This isn't just about the money for Bradley. He wants to fight Khan, but he wants to do it on his terms - NOT on Gary Shaws terms. People need to remember this before they go off about Bradley not having money as an excuse, or the lame "duck" excuse.

I don't undertand the rationale when talented boxer like Tim. Bradley walks away from wwhat could potentially be his biggest payday to date. Like the phrase I saw poosted numerous times here, Lbradley can't entice flies to ****". Surely he may be sitting out his contract with Gary Shaw, but here's an opportunity to be up on the star so that the casual boxing fan can take notice. Bradley was involved with an highly anticipated Jr. Welterweight show down with Alexander, and that contest peaked the interest of barely 5000 people to watch it like. Guys like Khan, Hatton, Klitchkos are selling out stadiums with mediocre competition. Bradley may be losing a golden opportunity. Let's be realistic, the Manny Pacquiao gravy train will not be around too long. He fights Marquez in November, then Mayweather in 2012, then Maybe a Mayweather rematch if he loses the intial match...and that's it. Next Pacquiao's appearance may be at the head of state convention at the UN.

Brings me to Zab Judah who was dissing on a Khan's challenge because his name was rumored as a potential opponent for Manny. Now that Juan M. Marquez has secured a November encounter with Manny Pacquiao, Judah is calling on Khan again, just to learn that Khan has moved on bumped Robert Guerrero ahead of Judah. This got Judah in a fit, who lashed out at Khan in ways evident of someone "backsliding" their Christian faith.

I say Tim Bradley ought to wise up, fight and beat Khan, which would make a Manny Pacquiao encounter more compelling.
Pay attention to how Bob Arum is doing business. A Miguel Cotto vs Manny Pacquiao rematch generates more business than Tim Bradley at this juncture. As Pacquiao's career winds down, the "mullas" is what takes precedent. Bradley at this juncture makes a living because of TV interest. Take your career and interest in you to a whole "notter" level by fighting and beating Khan...NOW!

So Bradley should just over look the fact that he would be stuck fighting under a man (Gary Shaw) who was clearly trying to sell his fighter out to the media and the public, just so he can fight Khan in July rather than in say, November? Half of Bradleys problem IS having had Shaw as a ****ty promoter. Do you really think if Bradley had been with Bob Arum that he would be in the same boat as he has been in with Shaw Promotions. One thing you can't say bad about Bob and Top Rank is that the man does know how to promote. Shaw has done NOTHING for Bradley in terms of selling his fights. Now I'm not saying that Bradley is the most exciting fighter out there, but just because Alexander didn't come to fight in one of the most anticipated fights of the year didn't make it Bradleys fault. And I'm certain that Top Rank could have done a much better job of promoting that fight had he been the promoter. I know that wouldn't have made it any better of a fight, but look what TR did for Pac-Mosely, you get my point? Gary Shaw wants the money and the credit but the truth is, he does very little in the way of actually promoting his fighters. Case in point, Shaw fighting the Bradley/Alexander fight being in St. Louis.... although I was glad (because of the Alexander/Kotelnik home town judging) there would have been a ****load more exposure for Bradley had they had the bigger attendance that St. Louis would have brought. Now in hindsight that was a good thing, seeing how crappy the fight turned out, but the point is still the same - Shaw wants his share (he gets it no matter what because it comes from Bradleys cut) but he doesn't want to actually PROMOTE his fighter.

Like I said, Bradley might not be the most exciting fighter at this time, but he must be doing something right to be #1 in his division. People just need to be a tiny bit patient. They act like just because this fight isn't happening in July that it can't be made in another 6 months when he's free from Shaw Promotions. Bradley shouldn't have to sacrifice his freedom (by signing a Shaw contract to fight Khan in July and probably an extension) just because Khan wants it in July and not in November. There's a lot more to this whole thing then "Bradley just doesn't want to fight Khan". If Khan were in the same boat as Bradley, I guarantee his fans would be saying that Khan was being smart in waiting. Some people just won't afford Tim Bradley the same luxury.

that's a damn good paycheck they're willing to give him. some people even give him a chance of winning too. imagine if he took this and won, then he can get the pacquiao fight with more money for sure. if he takes the pac fight right now, i doubt they'll give him anything more than 3 mill.
