This is a spectacular fight, and a lot of people deserve credit for making a fight like this happen. HBO deserves the most credit, for rejecting the Ishida fight and demanding PW take something better. PW deserves credit, because even though he tried to take a soft touch first after that got rejected he could have taken the next easier options like Lattimore or Quintana. Instead he chose probably the toughest available opponent for him. Lara deserves a ton of credit, because after having flaws exposed by Molina a lot of people wouldn't have given him too much flack for stepping back and working on things. Instead he is getting in there with a guy who has the ability to overwhelm him with activity and expose every one of the flaws Molina did. These are the types of fights that just don't get made anymore. It's a fight where both guys are taking a huge risk. This is what boxing should be about. Instead of trying to get in there with guys that will make you look good both are getting in with guys who have the ability to make them look bad. No matter the outcome both fighters deserve praise for having the guts to make this fight.

im proly the biggest winky fan u'll ever find, but winky definitely wasnt prime in that fight. his prime happend after that fight and thats when no1 wanted to fight him. thats the fight in which he developed his peek a boo jab combination style tho. but he wasnt prime imo. kinda like bhop wasnt prime in the 1st rjj fight and how serg wasnt prime when he fought martinez.Comment

Awesome, two skilled guys who really need a bounce back win. These are the best kinds of fights!

Never even heard of Lara..Looking him up, he was on ESPN fighting some other dude Ive never heard of..
I still think Williams-Ishida would have been a better draw ratings-wise and a better scrap, but I guess HBO knows what they are doing, I guess..
Either way, glad to see the Punisher back!Comment
