Big fight for Lara and a no win for PW!

HBO forced this fight on him for certain. Oh well. At least its not a huge mismatch. And I see Lara getting up for this one.

Whoa, that was unexpected. This is why I still love HBO. People talk s**t about their financial decisions, but they make great fights. In fact, Williams-Martinez II would have never happened without HBO.

Sure. Margarito went and fought Williams when Arum told him not to. Arum works for them not the other way around. You Cotto Stans are just like the *******s, knowing they have a play on who they fight, they blame it only on Arum.

I believe this is true. Because Arum was recently quoted as saying "If Pacquiao wants to explore that fight, we'll explore it" regarding a Zab Judah fight.


Also, Bob Arum said he will let Pacquiao choose from Berto, Marquez, or Mosley. Pacquiao chose the oldest one, and also the one with the worst recent run in boxing, the one with the most losses, and Pacquiao called it a "tough fight" and a "fight for the fans", when in reality no fans really wanted to see this fight. Sure one can counter this by saying it sold 1.2Mill PPV's but Pacquiao-Clottey also sold a lot of PPVs but that doesn't mean it was a big fight, Pacquiao just has a big name.


I know Arum says a lot of things, and has proven to lie a bunch of times, but I doubt he lied about that "letting Pacquiao choose who he wants", and "If Pacquiao wants to explore we'll do that". Seems like the innocent little man that people defend by saying "It's all Bob Arum" does indeed have a say in who he wants to fight.
