Put it this way, Hopkins deserves the money he gets now when he fought the way he did back then.

He don't deserve shіt now. His last few fights have been horrible and the only props he deserves for them is based on his age and to still be fighting. The fights, however, were highly unentertaining.

Are you kidding?
I'm not a huge fan but the Pascal fight was superb. I had Hopkins up by 2 rounds clearly (and that was allowing the two kind of suspect knockdowns as 10-8 rounds).
Considering Pascal defeated everyone he has faced at the weight including the much heralded Chad Dawson I don't know how you can belittle that performance.
He reduced Pascal to occasional lunging runs and was outlanding him handily in clean, powerful shots.
Was Hopkins beautiful to watch? No. But impressive? Hell yes!
