I would have liked it more then. I still like it now. Marquez hasn't shown that he's slowed down much since 3 years ago.

The actual weight is meaningless. If they fight at 140 Pac will still regydrate to the same weight. Same goes for 135 although maybe he would have to struggle a bit more.

I think when the fight gets closer people will get more excited. Pac hasn't really been tested in a while.

I'm really not quite sure how I feel about this fight. I mean I like it, but I don't love it.

It's almost guaranteed to be action packed and I love the rivalry these guys have had, but Marquez having to move up two weight classes again considering Pac could easily make 140 and possibly even 135 makes this fight less appealing.

I will buy this PPV for sure though.

That being said, I think people are really taking Marquez lightly. Floyd's size/weight advantage didn't beat Marquez, it was his skill.

"Pacquiao's gotten better" "Pacquiao's a two handed fighter now." "Pacquiao will kill Marquez"...well. Once again for the 3rd time Marquez is gonna show all you naysayers that he IS one of the best fighters of this generation period.

Marquez should have taken on one of the top 140 division fighters first and of course win the fight ....... then more fans would have given this fight between Manny vs Marquez the thumbs up.

There were other fights that I would have preferred over this for sure.

it's still ok, the fight would have been fireworks if it was made 3 yrs ago
but I'd still buy it. I don't really care about the weight cos Pacquiao will not go higher than 150 at fight night unlike Floyd who cheated on the scales.

True in hindsight Everyone expected PAC will decapitate JMM on their second fight. Howevef PAC was having problems making weight on that fight. But then again it could be that JMM just got Pacquiao numbers.

I'm glad Marquez is getting the trilogy, but it's a ***** move from Pacquiao to run from him since 2008 claiming "business is finished" and then finally giving him the rematch damn near 4 years later after Marquez is old..., but hey, that's typical Pacroid for ya.
