23-year-old Jalisco contender José Manuel Osorio (22-2, 15KOs) began his strongest phase of physical training for a a scheduled fight with Colombian Alexander Monterrosa, for the WBC's Intercontinental super featherweight title. The fight will take place on the undercard of Saul Alvarez's first defense of the WBC 154-pound title against British boxer Ryan Rhodes, on June 18 at Arena VFG in Tlajomulco, Jalisco.
